This gives me super Mario 64 vibes. Nice. I also get the reference to the art pretty much, except a problem I have with the whole piece is that I feel it's more centered around the lake itself, than the lady. Like it's very mysterious and eerie, like a swamp-ish lake would be. But when a huge majestic woman-fish hybrid would emerge from the lake, I personally picture something that's more epic and grand. There's also a lot of reverb, try to decrease a lot of it to get a better clearance on your sounds. Also I think it's pretty repetitive, a good thing you could do by avoiding that is adding and introducing new instruments and maybe even completely new segments. As of right now I personally don't hear enough instruments to keep me interested for 4 minutes long.

I don't have much to share in terms of feedback because I agree with the guy underneath me for most parts. What I do think is that the drums could have been a lot more punchier and more on the foreground. It was probably better if the bass was just louder in general. And yeaaaa try to fix that reverb soup in next songs.

I like the creative rhythmic changes! Also very cutesy vibe, so definitely nailed the art comparison part. I do think that the whole song just overall sounds a bit thin. You would've definitely profited from more layering. I also think it's quite a bit repetitive, although I don't really think it's an issue due to the simple theme.
Good luck with the AIM!
Also lmao did you just hear mango eating asmr at the end that's hilarious af

Thank you very much! I really appreciate it <3

Beautiful work man. This sounds like it comes straight out of a videogame OST. It really has a great medieval vibe to it. Like some kind of troubadour sitting at a bar telling you a story. Some narration under this would fit really well too. There is something in the end that is a little bit offkey, it honestly sounds like a kazoo of some sorts. I like the fact that it's a bit out of tune, but I think if you made it slightly less out of tune it would work better. Great job for having everything recorded by yourself

I really like this! My only big complaint is that the drums could've kicked in way earlier than they do now, because the first half is almost only guitar, it gets a bit repetitive. Second half really made the song for me

I love the piano and the soft melancholic melody. I think that if you added some ambience in the background, like some village sfx or whatever would fit the image, it would help filling in the many many silences there are. Also I think that the piano could have had a bigger dynamic range, cus like previously said already, this is very quiet. That's about it

thank you for the feedback

Yoooo nice work!

This is very nice, although it would be a lot better if you put some more effort into making the piano more dynamic: right now it feels like a person is constantly hitting the piano very hard, which also makes it resonate a bit too much. You can see it very clearly in the audio itself: whenever the piano is gone, the db drops significantly
It's definitely somewhat repetitive as well, could use some variation
I like the strings though.
