Oh no Anakin reference AHHH. This is the first one I heard from you guys that doesn't have that waterflame energy anymore, but I'm all for that too! A little bit more serious toned on this one. The drop is very nice and well-mixed, but the dynamic between drop and non-drop could be a little bigger to emphasise that there's actually a drop in the first place if you know what I mean. I like the oud (if I'm not wrong) samples very much! Especially that filler at 2:06. Wonderful and mystical outtro! GG on this one :)

First thing I immeadiately notice is that the theming is very appearent, so good remarks on that. It gives the racing and desert both pretty well. The main kick and psy bass is really loud tho, they really duck the rest of the instruments down quite a lot. Which is a shame cus there are a lot of other cool instruments I want to enjoy to it's fullest. Also call me based, but I really like the frantic time sig changes, it adds to the vibe and I think that's great. 2:34-2:40 is such a cool building part imo. I like the melodies in the part that comes after as well, although at times such as 3:10-3:24 it just sounds like you took random notes and stuck them to fit the key. 4:05 is such a WTF moment but in a good way haha. The way that transitions and goes along with the bass is great again. A very fun listen overall, big gg's

"Brick by brick I built this brickwalled limiter" lol. Anyways, I think it's a pretty alright trance track but the loudness is an obvious issue. You can hear the attempts to make the melody somewhat more alternative, but the theming ESPECIALLY comes through in every non-drop sections, with the swelling strings. I like the drum n bass attempt, but it gets sooooo loud again that the mix just becomes this... idk. I need to give my ears some rest after this one lol

Yeah this was a rough round for me ngl, especially master wise. I’ll keep the feedback in mind

Ohhh this is pretty cool! I like the heavy guitar aspects from it, and the theming comes through pretty clear! I like the swelling strings and the drums. The mix is quite a bit too crowded, which can work, but like I said to crispy in dm's before, it's gonna be a lot harder that way to get the mix proper! From 1:42 to 2:20 there's this one snare that keeps playing on the same rhythm VERY loudly, so that becomes jarring after a while. I like the melodic break afterwards! Very atmospherical. I like the B-section a lot too, but I think there is some unwanted dissonance in there unfortunately. Overall a very fun and intense listen!

glad you enjoyed mate!

Not to be harsh, but in previous reviews on your guys collabs I said "what lacks in the production, it makes up for the rapping and lyrics"
Unfortunately the production is still pretty mediocre, with some mixing issues and sounds that overall sound pretty muffled. Good on the theming tho! I also like the rhythm you guys chose for this, that's very "roaming in the desert on a camel" vibes haha.

CasualBreather responds:

It is true that we still have progress to do with mixing, equalization, it's the beginning of a long journey (prolly xd). But we tried to go without that lyrics / vocals easy way for that round. Thanks for your feedback.

I really love this! It's pretty hardcore haha (not as in the genre just in the intensity). It gives off the racing vibe really well! I do think it lacks in the theming of desert, I don't quite hear the mysterious atmospheres, the dissonant melodies, the Arabic soundscapes, etc.. Absolutely insane production tho, hats off to that! I also liked the tearout part

NeonSkiesOfficial responds:

Yeah, it's supposed to be more of the hopelessness you get when you're stranded in the desert, the anger and frustration, (hence the name) but yes, I do agree that it does lack some theming

this is actually quite the improvement from your previous entry. The mixing is still really messy but the melody makes more sense and the theming comes forth more clearly. I recommend taking more care on how to integrate the sound design aspect of the drop, because the sound design fills come out way too loudly.

A great saddity has bestowed upon as all
This definitely would have been in my top 3 if it was finished for the round

NOOOOO CAT OWL KEEPS HUNTING ME
Anyways, I think most of the "listens" on this track is just people clicking it, reading the description and leaving a comment without actually pressing play lmao
